About the band
Acoustic rock, grounded in the Word. Shows and concerts in churches across the US since 2000, with a sound that has been compared to James Taylor.
Who we are
Our band has been doing shows and concerts in churches across the US since 2000. Our songs are grounded in the Word and our musical style has been compared with James Taylor. We play in Christian coffee houses, churches and other venues.
Our goal is to share the Gospel, encourage the church, and enjoy the fellowship of working with church leaders and others to lift the Name of Jesus. While we love the coffee house scene, our passion is our professionally produced shows.
For more than twenty years we have performed Journey to the Celestial City, a word-for-word delivery of John Bunyan’s famous Christian story, Pilgrim’s Progress, with original songs written for the journey.
“Our songs are grounded in the Word and appeal to all ages.”
The work
Show one
A word-for-word delivery of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress. Christian walks from the City of Destruction to the Celestial City while the band plays original songs inspired by the most poignant chapters of the story.
See the shows on the home page“It was such a confirmation of the power of the message, to see the entire sanctuary packed out with teens and adults. Two months later, people are still talking about it.”
Show two
A word-for-word delivery of 1 John, in five acts. The focus is Biblical assurance: many pastors say much of the counseling they do is with Christians who struggle to be sure. John wrote this letter so that those who believe in the Name of Jesus may know they have eternal life.
See the shows on the home page“Jim and the team of accomplished musicians interspersed original compositions with his amazingly memorized, expressive and compelling reciting of 1 John.”
Where we play
We have played in hundreds of churches across the United States, from small fellowship halls to camp meeting tabernacles. Each program travels with its own band, lighting and staging, and fits a Sunday service, an evening concert or a weekend outreach.
If you are weighing up whether a show would serve your congregation, we are glad to talk it through and to put you in touch with pastors who have hosted us.
